The Yoga Barn Website
A complete digital transformation of a community focused yoga studio's online presence.
The client
The Yoga Barn is a family run yoga studio set in the heart of Pollock Country Park. We were asked to refresh the studio's outdated website and fix breakages on the timetable page which occurred on the old version of the site.

We wanted to capture the rustic and homely feel of the Yoga Barn and ensure the digital presence of the Yoga Barn felt as friendly and approachable as the physical space.
The challenge
We were asked to update the existing Yoga Barn website with something fresh that better reflected the brand and strong sense of community that the studio offers its students.

We were also challenged to fix breakages that occurred across a number of essential pages that prevented website users from being able to access the website and book classes.
Our approach
Brand Identity Development
Building on existing branding for the Yoga Barn we made a few small tweaks to the colour palette and fonts and brought this over to the new web presence to ensure a consistent feel across websites, social media and printed collateral.
Website Design
We updated the look and feel of the Yoga Barn website using imagery to help convey the strong sense of community that the studio represents. We also ensured that the website was responsive across different devices as research showed that most users were visiting via mobile.
We also addressed breakages to essential pages such as the timetable and booking pages to ensure that users could access and book yoga classes with ease. To ensure easy on-going maintenance we linked the new Yoga Barn websites to the pre-existing booking platform as both our client and the website users were already comfortable and happy with using this software.
SEO and Discoverability
We didn't just stop at the website! To help new visitors find the Yoga Barn website we optimised the website to maximise its discoverability in search engine results. In the first 5 months of launching the new Yoga Barn website it has reached over 10K in visitors, more than 20 leads from contact forms, and growth in the email newsletter via our web form.
